 Why Is Visualisation Important?

Is it possible to manipulate some energy flows through visualisation only?

If so, what's the direct effect of visualisation?

Does it somehow land onto the subconscious which makes out of the images a rouhly matter thing?

Or does it somehow land into the astral? or is there something else?

does it mean there is some state of mind where the entity usually called homo sapiens sapiens is able to directly operate energy?

frankly speaking, I've been searching for this since eons

how can I intentionally get into this state? is it a very deep meditation / trance-like state ?
