 Why Is Visualisation Important?

Is it possible to manipulate some energy flows through visualisation only?

If so, what's the direct effect of visualisation?

Does it somehow land onto the subconscious which makes out of the images a rouhly matter thing?

Or does it somehow land into the astral? or is there something else?

Vagrant Dreamer (sorry my post will be directed towards you, the PM function didn't seem to work for me): I'm very interested in more information and practice in energy manipulation. Since visualization can only take you so far, what other resources would you suggest for more guidance on this topic?
