If a person just boasts about their abilities and accomplishments they just look bad and it can hurt their credibility, since most people tend to not believe braggarts. If some is in of help and you brag by telling them the things you can do for them and do it in a way that is not smug I think that is a good thing and a person would be more likely to rely on you. --------------------
