Starting Ouija Options

Ok so i got the stuff needed to make me a board (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif). So to start this will be my real first dip into magick i going to start small before handling such things as the goetia. So how would i go about using the board and do i need to draw a symbol of protection if so what would be best (Picture would be appreciated). How do i summon a spirit to commune with me what should i do if it starts to commune how do i go about asking it questions (What have more experienced people in this field asked what kind of questions) ?After i commune with it is there any particular ritual to let the spirit go but yet showing thanks to it for communicating?

Alright thank you all for the post i might try it still but i will use protection and blessings before i do i have did a little reasearch on it. But the oujia does seem to have more negative effects rather than positive. I think that people underestimate it and use it as a toy :/ not to smart. But thank you all for the post maybe i will try something else and i have been studying upon the archangels for a few weeks they are very intriguing so maybe later i will try some workings in evoking them but not till im ready (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif).
