I understand your issue, they really need an elemental magick forum. So, I live in DC and I was a proponent of our snowpocalypse. A few students at my school and I worked for the storm, expanding it and making it grow. Needless to say, it worked. The second storm was even better (it went from five to twelve inches with our help). Well, I like to incorporate a bit on science into my practice - we were supposed to get less because there was a current of wind going around us that would stave off most of the storm. What we did was to, with my partner and I assigned to separate things, stop the wind current and pull in the storm to us. It worked, the amount of snow we got was more than double the forecast. I'm not entirely sure what my partner did, but I have this ability to release myself from my body and fly wherever I want - it's like astral projection, only it happens in this world. The only downside is that since I am totally consumed by nature when I do it, i can see people but nothing manmade, so sometimes it's hard for me to figure out where exactly I am when I take a random trip. Anyway, as I fly I'm completely aware of the wind conditions, of the atmosphere and the ground below (although sometimes the ground fades when I'm focusing on another element). And, since I'm totally boundless as an unchained soul, I just decide how the wind should change and what the clouds should do. However, my mood affects the atmosphere around me - if I travel while I'm angry thunderclouds gather and when I'm sad, fog and rainclouds appear. I have to be really careful to meditate before I go anywhere.
