I am currently working my way through the Enochian Aethyrs and decided with my latest exploration (VTI/UTI) to see if Salvia Divinorum would help things along. I had tried Salvia twice prior to this, the first time not getting much of an effect and the other time feeling its effects strongly but not getting any visual hallucinations. I did my banishings and read out the call in Enochian, before taking two or three hits of x5, the plan being to then read the call out in English then scry. About two minutes after taking my puffs I 'saw' a horrible crone sitting in front of me. She was 'there' as real as real as possible, and not just a distortion of something else as you might get with LSD. She didn't speak, but the sense I got was that she was interested in what I was up to/attracted to the working in some ways. She didn't seem particularly malevolent, even if though she looked pretty hideous. The vision disappeared in due course, and, somewhat shaken, I got on with the business of finishing the call in English and scrying. It was hard for me to focus as first, as I kept thinking about Hecate's sister. After a while I started to get images, which later checked out as being representative of this path. My question is, do other readers think that the woman I saw was just the drug and my expectations interacting, or was I seeing a lower astral entity or something? Would be interested to hear of any similar experiences. Cheers!

Probably, I've noticed the "people" you see in the aethyrs tend to look more like monsters or creatures than people or angels. They're not, just appearance wise. So it wouldn't surprise me if it was an enochian aethyr inhabitant. But then again there is really no way to tell from the information you supplied. Either way it really doesn't matter. Just record it in your journal and see if she ever shows up again.

It's very interesting that you mention this, since I've had countless experiences with this, and I know it can get very vivid, and when someone's using a good amount of psychedelics, in most cases will reach a temporary level of genius, and be able to bend space and time, and slip into other dimensions that can sometimes be frightening and still very enjoyable in a strange way with one experience I've had, which I will probably eventually explain later down the road. Anyways, I read a section in the book called "Morning of the Magicians" and it had an extract by an almost seemingly madman, but he definately had a point. He expressed that most people are half-living their life, almost "sleeping" but walking, and that the ultimate "awakening" is everything, and he expresses a very strange observation, it's almost laughable. He says that during the first part of the awakening, which is 'genius', you are able to completely understand the physical realm, and when you ascend beyond just a "genius" state of being, you start attracting 'shadow-people' and when they become more clear they are hideous creatures, and it ascends until everything 'turns into worms including your own body' and when your life is ideally taken, that your own body will not be left behind, and that it almost has the effect of a flame on ice, "throwing steam into the universe" which is the supposed godhead.

By far the best scrying experience was on DMT staring at a black carpet, where I saw a kaleidascope of an almost painted-on and dynamic appearance of Hindu idols, clouds, stars, and jewelry, and it was most definately pleasant, and powerful.

--------------------
I hear Khephra's mighty droning from afar,
His mighty wings high upon a northern Star,
"How long must I suffer, how must I pent?"
And I recieved an answer; "conquer all, my beloved brother, God-sent."

"Only then ye be free of your enemies,
Grossly, heavy, ruddy, and brute,
Thou must join us in Mighty Work
So quicken thyself and behold the Absolute."

Brushing myself off, I took up a Garment,
Seven-fold in essence,
Celestial in root.

"I have become reborn, oh God the Author.
I have glimpsed Thy Veins, Thy Marrow, Thy Face,
I have performed Thy Miracle,
I have obtained Thy Red Lion, from the muck of Thy Vase!"
