So someone I know who happens to be able to see aura's offhandedly told me of the gray darkish color surrounding my person. Upon further investigation of what a darker colored aura denotes, I wasn't very satisfied with the descriptions. There are positive and negative descriptions of the color as well as different ideas concerning what it's meant to indicate in the first place. Perhaps someone can explain the idea behind an "aura" and its color and what it might mean to possess a grayish one?

Something that I read that did cause some minor thought within me though I admit wasn't surprising was a description of blocked energies associated with the said aura color. I wondered if perhaps this could be an explanation towards my failed attempts at things like meditation, astral projection, etc. I used to think persistent was the key to my dilemma however that's come to another unfortunate close. If I can safely determine that my failures were even in part due to blocked energies and everything associated with such a status, how might I overcome this obstacle and finally be able to move on and away from this prolonged rut I've managed to remain in.

I would first ask you how you feel health-wise or overall emotionally. Are you healthy, energetic or are you tired all the time or have a pain or stress condition, etc. Are you usually content or are you usually depressed and debilitated? If you are a generally healthy and contented person, I would not pay much mind to the aura reader and also consider it a kind of vampirism on that person's part by telling you that your aura is "dark" --because it leads to undo alarm and disempowered feelings for you.

A muddy or brown or grayish looking aura or a "tight" aura can bode very bad health (indeed a brown or grayish could suggest grave and extreme ill health--that is, Are you bedridden? Do you have a terminal disease?) or emotional state--or it could simply reflect how the aura-reader is feeling or feeling about you. I've known many a person who believes s/he is very sensitive and can see auras etc. People that feel the need to interject their visions on everyone they meet in this regard are more hysterical (in the old psychiatric word sense) than "sensitive," in my experience.

How do you fix a dark aura? You address the problem related to it. Look at your physical and emotional life and make the necessary changes. Among other things, vigorous yogic-type exercises with breathing practices and thought transformation exercises will make for a bright and conspicuous aura.

Many many people "fail" at meditation and astral projection, etc. As for meditaiton, there are many different ways to do it. You need to find the one that is suitable. You can PM me about this. I have lots of experience and have written on the subject. Astral projection is another tricky technique that some people are "wired" (neurologically speaking) for and some are not. If you can get a handle on meditation, relaxation, and visualization techniques, you may get closer to it. Chakra meditations can help with working with "blocked" energies, but the real deal type of meditations are challenging and take time and patience--and I don't mean the mere practice--I mean what goes on in your life while you are doing the practice.

Do not let the aura "diagnosis" throw you off. Be patient and also ingenius and disciplined about your goals.
