I would like to mostly agree with Bym here, there's a radical difference between an imaginary friend and having five different voices floating around unaccounted for. One thing is this, a single imaginary friend that has been around since early childhood might not be so imaginary, it could be the voice of the Ancestor, it could be a divine helper, any number of things, but this voice would have been around as noted, since 'forever'. Instead we are talking about five different 'characters' that a person has created through stories or thought-form. One legitimate way of looking at this violet would be that you created energy pockets, or spaces of energy within yourself for these fictional beings, but due to poor protection, bad MAGICAL parenting (pretty common in America) or just pure recklessness etc... less than scrupulous energies or entities came to inhabit those pockets of energy and are now basically feeding off of you. It might sound scary and it should, as suggested seek out a mental health professional if needed, but be wise in your discretion of taking prescription medication, sometimes this can help, sometimes this can hinder, ultimately it must be your decision. That of course isn't the only answer, but it's a good start and fairly safe. In truth get mental help without the idea of medication is something that should be practically mandatory, just like a physical visit to a doctor's office every once and awhile. If there's anything else you would like to know please ask.
