I've been working on moving a suspended needle with my mind, and it's been going pretty well. I can make it sway back and forth, and now I'm working on making it raise up horizontally or lift up straight while remaining vertical. I haven't progressed too far into that second part though. After I master that, I'm going to start bending spoons, and then forks (all the prongs at the same time, for mental dexterity).

What do my spiritual colleagues think of all this? Have any of you tried telekinesis/psychokinesis before?

Rolling a pencil is harder than moving a suspended needle. Rolling a pencil requires you have the power to overcome it's weight and the friction of it's movement against the book. A needle is lighter, and if it's suspended on a string on a wall, but not touching the wall, there is only the friction of the air and the power of gravity to slow or stop it. I suggest you thread a needle, hang it from your wall(but so it's not touching the wall), and try again. Just spend 2 minutes a day on it for a month or two. Make sure there's not too much movement, don't be close enough that your breath can affect it, and make sure there's no fans or anything on. You don't want to deceive yourself or give yourself reason to doubt yourself. You can do this.
