Err, did anyone read the article? It WAS pretty good and legit.
Only comment...to quote from the article itself:
"Why ignore that large body of work left to us by Crowley, which he considered of genuine spiritual import, to focus instead on an inconsequential drawing with a view to promoting an extraterrestrial fantasy?"
Ungrounded fantasy is the pornography and primary substance of the fat, stupid, ignorant beast that is the New Age movement. Wave my magical wand and open my sahasara chakra with the click of my heels, it all makes sense! Just like make-believe!
Crowley is legit. But letting aliens into our dimension? Did anyone say overactive, imaginative speculation? Possibly throwing in complete imaginative speculation and superstition?
Enough said.

Ever hear of the gender police? (certainly not on this post). I sometimes imagine the (insert dominant religion) police saying something like this...

... question is whether you could regard extraterrestrials as being entities, as in the entities we're used to dealing with, "spirits". If one can invoke saturn and make room for communication with whatsowhowhatever entities from there then what do the guys next door need fancy UFO's for? Are they UFOs or the astral imaginings, astral veichles, of some Om chanting ET in an asana some billion light years away?
Anyway... the answer, if seen that way, could well be yes... perhaps Crowley did like to leave conjourings open and not banish thus leaving stargates, sorry ritual spaces around and about here and there enough for aliens... sorry, foriegn life forms... I mean, ummm, entities to come through rent free.
(Haven't read the link btw, just musing)
Well, maybe. Straight from the horse's mouth, Crowley says: "The spirit is merely a recalcitrant part of one's own organism. To evoke him is therefore to become conscious of some part of one's own character; to command and constrain him is to bring that part into subjection." (ABA, pg 236).
So...maybe...that depends on whether you believe/think/imagine that spirits exist outside of one's organism or not...
I think it's confusing the planes to say they do.
