banishing a ghost?, How to rid a house of a ghost? Options

Friend has moved into an old house that has a disturbing spirit... would the Lesser Banishing ritual expell the ghost? Any other recommendation.

I would recommend that you fumigate the entire house with two types of smoke: copal burned charcoal or a sage smudge bundle. Waft the smoke into the four directions and ask for the protection of the four cardinal points. Sage and copal are readily available at most major botanicas or occult shops.
