Thinking beyond the bounds of post-Victorian morality could be a good place to start. Sin: 'an act that describes any lack of conformity to the will of God'. By thinking along those lines, an individual already has to justify the existence of any such concept as 'sinfulness'. Agreeing with chaoscrowley37, the incestuous act is avoided in (certain) human societies because of the dangers associated with genetic corruption. Assuming the transmigration of souls, how would this reasoning apply to a cosmic spirit?
If taken seriously, this sounds like another, creative, way to generate more sex-guilt and needless anxiety!
