Crystall ball, Scrying Options

I have a lab grown quartz orb about 4" in diamiter with perfect clairity. I wish to use this to scry, where is the best place to learn of scrying or some techniques.
I am greatfull for any help.

If no cloud or smoke manifests try different colors, tones of the same colors, and make sure the colors are put in the right sections to produce the 'flashy' effect.

Since when did movie effects become sudden reality?

I've worked with crystal scrying for years, and never has a cloud or smoke manifected. Same with water scrying, or using the mirror.

The idea behind scrying is using a focus point, to clear your mind, allow it to open up, and recieve prophetic images...in your minds eye.
