Hey Guys,
I just voted for Vassago as the most famous demon in another thread (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
I myself have never really communicate with entity's as im new to occult. I just posted my intro. Anyways I have always felt close to Vassago I guess. Maybe someday soon I summon Him.I recently started meditations [Void Meditation], you know when you blank your mind, etc. Anyways, how many of you have summoned Vassago? Did you see him? What methods did you use? Also,
If I do summon Him can I be his student? As in ask him to teach me things, work with me, enlighten me with knowledge, etc..Everyone says hes very friendly and nice to work with. Also if you want read my article on Communication with Entities:
http://glowingancients.tripod.com/X.rtf do tell me what you think. Maybe most people who talk to demons are being fooled, etc.
Also the Goeitc Demons are the demons allied with "Satan" rite?
Anyways, Thanks!

I'm trying to understand how you write on the idea of evocation being simply a person talking to himself while previously admitting that you have never performed the act of summoning. Would the following statement have any validity if I made it?

"I think climbing mountains is really easy. It's just walking up a big hill."
"Maybe someday I will climb a mountain."

If one wishes to write about another's experience he would do well to attempt the experience himself. The idea of whether a "demon" is actually real or a psychological construct has been discussed by people who have performed evocation for many years. Personally I feel that sometimes the demon is actually there and other times it is imaginary, and both are equally valid. Ultimately it lies in the realm of the unprovable for now. Magick doesn't need to be explained, it works and that's all I need to know. Since your article deals with psychology I will leave you with this quote.

"Our own hopes and fears may be grounded in 'realities' that are recognizable to others, or they may be 'purely imaginary', but the joy or anxiety they bring is the same in either case - what we experience is real to us, if not to other people, and has its own validity, equal to, though different from, the 'reality' that is generally acknowledged."

"This attitude towards the reality of the psyche contrasts strikingly with that to which Jung (Carl Gustav) often refers as 'a nothing but attitude'. Those who hold this point of view continually belittle psychic manifestations, especially experiences which cannot easily be connected with outside events, and refer to them disparingly as 'nothing but imagination', or 'merely subjective'."------
