Red robed figure. Options

Well I'm wondering if anyone here as any info on an entity that wears a red robe with very tall blonde hair like that of Vash from Trigun. I once so him in my freshman year of high school and since than have wondered who exactly he is. The info would be greatly appreciated!

My mom told me a few times about a dream she had before I was born. Actually it was before my older bro was born, too. She was at the beach, sun-bathing when these guys in red-robes came out of the sea and walked towards her (all dry I think, too). One of them had a bundle in his robe.

They said that she had been chosen to carry a very special gift, or something to that effect. And that this gift came very far way. When she asked what it was, the dude with the bundle pulled this monkey out of his robe. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) The monkey promptly jumped on my mom and began crawling all over her.

She freaked out and refused the "gift", saying that she was too busy with her career to deal with such a thing. The one guy who had held the monkey, snapped his fingers or the like, and it came to him and transformed into a young blonde-haired child that looked exactly like me when I was five years old (as a side note- my bro had black hair). They then said she had no choice, that she had been chosen, and that the boy had a few lessons to be learned here (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Anyway, I don't like to make any claims here (hence my sheepishess around this story, but I guess all of us come from far away in a sense). I'm only telling what she told me. But an interesting coincidence(?) I learned later is that I was born under the Chinese animal-sign of the monkey.
