A friend and I like to hang out at cemetaries to feel the various energies and what not.

Well, we ran across this really old one, actually it was 2 cemetaries seperated only by about a 10 foot wide strip of grass.

One of them was a Catholic Cemetary, and the other was a Methodist Cemetary. Each one had a seperate gate, though you could walk from one to another inside the cemetary.

Anyhow, we entered on the Catholic side, I didnt notice anything odd. Then, I shifted consciousness a bit and blamo. The posts that mark the entrance gate had guardians. I was flabbergasted. I couldn't actually see them, but I could see the energies radiating from the cement blocks upon which they sat. I'd never seen anything like that at a cemetary before. We decided to see just what they were about so we walked across the barrier from cemetary to street. Once in the center I stopped. I wanted them to know that I knew they were there, I wanted to acknowledge their presence.

For someone that didn't have my shielding abilities, I might have been a bit worried as the affects from doing so could have been very traumatic for some. It was as if they were trying to attack the shield I have up at all times. There was a distinct pressure not only on my head, but also on my chest as if being crushed.

It's a good thing I shield naturally and always have , because if this would have continued without me knowing what was going on, the consequences could have been dire the way things were going. I seldom have to strengthen my shield, well this was one time in which I had to do so. As soon as I did the pressure let up but did not halt.

We decided to try the other gate on the Methodist side of the cemetary. Nothing. It was totally dead. We walked back to the Catholic side and they little buggers tried again...

We decided to leave, after getting into a discussion about the many cemetaries that we'd been to and seen and felt nothing of the sort before. So we headed off to the car and a sense of being followed as well as the feeling of pressure continued. It lasted for 5 minutes while we were driving away and we commented on it to eachother. Then it was simply gone. No lessening, just gone.

Needless to say it was the oddest cemetary experience that I've had in the numerous years that I've been hanging out at cemetaries. I usually go to relax and think, as well as observe. Usually, there are much different energies associated with some of the specific residents at some cemetaries. Ive never noticed guardians before. This was an entirely new experience for me and my cemetary dwelling habits.

One thing I should say is that we didn't bother trying to actually communicate with them. We just let them do their thing, as we did ours.

Have any of you noticed things like this before? Are they there from the consecration of the cemetary as guardians? Or did they just choose to be there and guard it? I suppose it could have been a combination of both. What are some of your cemetary experiences?

greetings Kinjo,

Graveyard dirt, is seen by some to be the most powerful conjuring dust that we could ever get our hands on. I am not going to claim to be an expert on all of its uses. I have googled it more than a few times, and have come across many usues for it. What I do know is that you have a very powerful piece of magick there. So I will tell you how I use it.

In alot of cultures they use to use a sacrafice to gain them access to cross over to communicate with loved ones and spirit guides. We've known through history cultures that have used everything from Human to animal sacrifices to do this very thing. The graveyard dirt can be used to take the place of this older more complicated method. When I use first started using it, it brought to me amazing results. Still does, I take it after going through the ritual of asking, then I add other herbs to it, cinnimon, sage, thyme, and a spell. I mix the ingredients charging them, and then use it to bless a spirit board. I use to make them, and destroy the prior with fire after every use. Recently I found a nice shop that sold one that spoke to me so I bought it. When I first started practicing I couldn't figure out how to close the window I'd opened, so after each session I burned the board I made to do so.

Now I use a spell, a spell to do so, when ever I use it. Grave yard dirt is very potent and powerful alone, but I use the added herbs to help balance and direct that power, so that it does exactly what I need it too. Not to sound all teachy, and a little off the subject, but I love alchemy, I've discovered that some herbs added together that would seem like normal kitchen herbs, add magick, or certain types of energy, frequency from(radionics) will give you some very explosive results. If you really wanna know more about that you should look up The Laws Of Thelema, great for understanding balance, and the science of it all. Okay back on the sunject, with the kind of dirt you have. I'm excited for you, but tread carefully I would do a bit of research on its uses first. Above is simply my example for what I use it for. Another tid bit of intresting info, with the fun of making a spirit board you can experiment with colors. Each color will take you some place diffrent, now when I say color. I mean the colors in which your letters and numbers are writen in. Blue will get you your guardian Angels and guides. Brown will get you thouse who have past.

Its alot of fun, with using a bought spirit board you can really change the coloring of the letters, so if you wanna get some place else you can correspond a spell or candle color. Anyway what you have there is great. I suggest a bit of research before using it. Please let me know how your experimentation turns out, and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask...
