I don't see a problem as long as we write on specific topics. Is anyone planing to write about the importantance of a priest ascending into the stars in mesopotamian ritual?

Alrighty I've submitted two articles, and I plan on writing more for the next issue ^^ but much more complicated and not so "how to?".

Note to all: submiting diagrams and such in your articles are fine, just remember that they will come out in B/W in the actual booklet.

As I'm writing something on the occult at the moment I thought of this thread.

Are there any topics in particular that would please you? If I were to find an appropriate topic to write about and did so in a coherant manner would you consider including it?

At the moment I'm writing about health of magical activities as judged by the sensations they cause and how they interact with the natural energy systems of the astral and physical bodies.

I need a good team of three or four permanent writers for an occult zine. Only requirment is that you can formulate a sentence and meet deadlines. Knowing how to read for book reviews helps too.

Well if anything I would like to write about the Botanica's and magickal beliefs in the communities of Latin America both here in NY, and also abroad in Latin America. How does that sound? Any specifics you would like? Let me know, and I'll get on it.

I'm very psyched at the response to the e-zine! I'd be happy to contribute if you(all) care to have me? I'm also intouch with a number of other occult oriented ezines (not as a writer but as a reader) and perhaps you'd be interested in cross advertising amoungst the publications...? I, too, can offer an occasional bit of artwork...I'm an illustrator by trade. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/banana.gif)

I can write sentances. I especially enjoy writing and editing occult short stories; and I've had experience illustrating zines. You might have a full staff already, but I'd love to help out.

Actually, an occult comic strip would be fun! Is there something like that in existence already? I mean a truly occult cartoon, not a cartoon with occult influences (which are largely cheesy, but fun, lol)?

Like a strip where a conjuration goes wrong, and he/she summons a Demonic Smurf or someshit. Something goofy based (loosely perhaps?) on reality, I don't know, lol! Yeah, a comic would be funb (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Hi Ashnook. If its not too late id love to contribute to your zine on a permanent basis. I aint bad with me words, 'n Im a visual communications designer by trade, so i can help with layout stuff aswell. I checked out your videos the other day, and for 18 you seem to have a pretty good grip of whats going on, and so I assume it would be a pleasure to work with you.

Ive not worked on the zine in some time though I do still have a few articles saved. My reason is that there were only maybe 3 or 4 people who submitted any work at all. While I am not "sore" at anyone, the magazine can't write itself (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) . I might be interested in picking it up again at some point soon though and seeing if anything picks up so to speak. If I do decide to go at it again I will take Bym's advice and keep a (IMG:style_emoticons/default/00000047.gif) with me. I would also layout what articles are needed and have certain people in charge of specific tasks. Let me brain storm on this for a day or so and Ill post something up.


P.S @ White Chaos, I did indeed recieve your articles and for that I thank you very much.

I might summit articles once this thing gets started. I can't say I would do it often seeing as I have school, work, a band, and a alcohol problem.

the benefit of cafépress is that you could make other items as well. like mugs and tshirts, other merchandise.
And you can sell them with almost no profit, or as much as youd like, there are always the basic fees for the printing and such, but they are not to great. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
