No reason why not - I don't, personally, always have a visual element to my astral projection. Sometimes its to a purely emotional plane, either because of my vibration at the time, or because of the plane that i'm in is emotional in nature, sometimes it's simply a tactile/spacial awareness of the 'dimensions' of the locale.

In fact, blind people may be less likely to fall for the common traps that many astral projectors fall into such as visualizing instead of projecting. Although, they may have all sorts of other complications. I'm not blind, nor met any blind astral projectors.

R. Bruce's tactile method of projection (which I'd define as Etheric projection as opposed to Astral Projection) is particularly well designed to the visually impaired. It doesn't require any of the traditional visualization practices or cues.

Yup exactly the rope method he devised is actually for the blind. It mentions that at his web site.

I had totally forgotton that it was rope he preferred. In fact I always thought he used knotted wool as it is easier on the hands especially for any small fry.
