I'd be an elf! A handsome stylish elf, with an athletic build, and plastic surgury for those ears with a faerie wife, and a mermaid goomar (Goomar, italian slang for girlfreind on the side) on the side ;-). lol...That was fun..I'd basically look like I do now, just a much smaller version...With elfen magic (See that cookie commercial? That elfen magic was 'pimp')...Alright, I've had a bit too much fun with this topic. lol.

I pick sea serpent or water dragon. Why? Because I like the sea and knights is shiny armour can not swim but sink like rocks. Also sailors would be easier to eat because you would not have to break through the metal shell. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I voted for other because i as thinking it would be nice to be a sort of fairy or elf. Running around the woods screwing with people who wandered through, stealing campers gear in the middle of the night, maybe making shoes, whats not to love. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/partytime.gif)

I chose unicorn because I find them to be very personal to me. I studied the possiblity that they may have actually existed.
Have lots of info on this theory.

I think that the creature you choose maybe one of your spirit helpers.

These creature still exist though even if just in our mind which make them real.

So it would b kinda fun to know which creatures are helping you.

Good to see people are still weighing in on this oh so important issue, it looks like phoenix has taken a substanstial lead, I definitely wouldn't have thought that at the beginning but I guess on the inside we all would rather be a bird than a reptile, I sympathize.

All you forum noobs need to put your vote in!

Vesna, I've always been fascinated by all of the knowledge in Cryptozoology as well as zoology. I know there's at least one thread about unicorns there I would love to see you add some of your research to said thread. I also chose unicorn and find them to be one of the most powerfully charged images around.

I know dragon will probably win in a landslide but let's see by how much. If you choose other please state in the thread which animal/creature you would like to incarnate as.

[attachment=355:attachment]I totally had to go dragon. The strength cunning and ovious good looks LOL. Luck and hope, and destruction all of it. The phoenix may be the symbol of rebirth but the Dragon is a powerful long lasting life of choice and will. OH they fly and breath fire now that is really cool

A Hobbit!! Seriously, sit and drink beer, have outrageous parties with fireworks.......smoke loooongbottom weed..hehehehe.. (course I really DON'T have to be a mythological creature for that, but hell that's an awesome lifestyle!) Besides, having to burrow out your own house from the side of hill would be cool too. For that I could stand to be short and hairy. But, I just have to make sure I wear my reflectors when I go out onto the highway at night, or I'll get run over.

In looking at the choices before voting I thought the dargon would win too. But I picked pheonix and, lo and behold, it's the top creature on the list. What's up with that? I'm a fire/air elemental cusp so the pheonix has resonated with me for a while. But dragons were huge early on in life.

Dragon!
As a dragon u got it all

(IMG:http://img224.imageshack.us/img224/8161/dragonpc6.png)

Just think about it
You can live in any place under creation and more
You can fly
You got some serious bling-bling
You can change shape
Maidens are up for grabs
Weekly bbq`s with your bud`s
Magic is no problem
Nobody complains about your breath
Your roar makes grown men soil their underwear

(only bad thing is when some litle metal-wearing ppl are complaing about your life-style, and try
to take your gold and maidens)

I picked 'Other'. I think I'd be a tjilpa (the ancestral totemic cat-men of Australia).

Yes, thank you, that was very enlightening. I do hope that you post here more often.

Well, after 58 votes it looks like dragon is actually the closest to phoenix that it's been since the poll started. For the most part dragon has been down to phoenix at a 2:1 ration. Those two are clearly the big winners, everyone else has managed just about the same number of votes. Except the two big losers thus far wyvern and griffin, I personally am somewhat shocked there's only one vote for griffin, I mean griffins totally rock. Thank you to everyone who thought outside the box and posted what other that they selected.

I chose sea serpent, but more specifically, the demon sea dragon of the deep, levithian. According to jewish mythology, it has been around since the beginning of time. Originally, there was a male and female pair, but if they mated, they would destroy the world, so god killed the female and now the male roams terrorizing the seas. He has two layers of rock-hard scales the size of shields around his body, can breath fire, and caused the sea to boil before he emerges.

Tied for a close second would be the phoenix and the minotaur.

Hi All!
I chose Dragon - mainly becasue out of all those listed, the dragon has the most power and is the most intelligent! Apart from being innately magical, all of the listed creatures are animalistic in their intelligence (apart from the merpeople!) - not that there is anything wrong with that though of course!
Dragons (and I'm generally talking dragons from like Dungeons and Dragons style mythology) are immensely powerful and intelliegent and the only ones in that list who can continue to use magic and psionic abilities at the greatest levels! to me, the dragon is the only step "up" there!
hehehehe...
Just my opinion!
