Well one quark I've noticed so far is that if you click the "list" function next to the icon (you put an "informative" icon in my post) it displays a fatal error message;
"Fatal error: Call to undefined function: return_html() in /home/smforum/public_html/sources/action_public/xmlout.php on line 316"
I gather that the "1 x informative!" means that one person found that post to be as such. But what is the purpose of the list function? Seems like it doesn't have one. Maybe its suppose to be a list of those who found thought it was informative?
Now I don't know if anybody else can actually see the icon next to my user name because nobody else seems to have one, that I can see at least. But next to my user name is an icon of a pallet for paint and if I hoover the cursor over it, it says I'm artistic. If I click on the icon it gives me this message:
"Fatal error: Call to undefined function: return_html() in /home/smforum/public_html/sources/action_public/xmlout.php on line 405"
My next little question here is what is the purpose of the icon next to my user name? And can I change it?
Over all I think this rating system is a novel idea and I like it. It will enable members to use a good and simple critique of the content that they post and it'll allow us to sort of "tag" the few luney toons who come by and post outrageous things that don't really make any sense and just make you wanna say WTF?! I'm not sure I like the layout though. If the icon could appear next to say the date and time, or at the bottom of the post, rather than within the post itself where its disrupts the text I think it would be more aesthetically pleasing, imo. But I have no idea if you can even alter that kind of thing or.
Yup, I also notice the errors and the icons was not exactly places where I wanted it to be. I'll talked about this monday with my developer and if there's nothing much we can do about it (it's a third party plugin) then it will be gone soon.
