Similar to this other topic,http://www.sacred-magick.org/index.php?showtopic=1063 where it seems perfectly obvious something is off, but in more subtle situations. I've experienced a fair share of them. - My ceiling fan had six lights and six blades, but now has 5 & 5. As do my old pictures of it.
- I'd taken off a ring and set it down in plain view, before painting, yet afterwards I couldn't find it. The next day it was right where I'd left it.
- A favorite song of mine had a really annoying guitar rift that was only in the left channel, now it's only in the right.
I can't claim omniscience, but when I run across something I'd forgotten it isn't accompanied by an feeling of uneasiness. I also recall someone once suggesting that this sort of thing may be an indicator someone's trying to manipulate you. Though other explanations I've heard are that it could be object slip from one multi-dimensional level to another, or maybe even machine elves can move things. I'd love to know what other people have had happen to them with reality shifts. Especially if you've seen something unusual (my 3rd eye isn't as developed as I would like). There's also a great collection of reports at http://amasci.com/weird/unusual/objs.htmlThis post has been edited by SeekerVI: Oct 8 2007, 03:22 PM

Subtle changes....I was driving home one night, and coming up a hill. At the top was an intersection with a light. The light was red, and as I stared at the taillights of the cars in front of me, the feel of it all changed.... It felt like I was in the future, and I was looking at futuristic cars. The vibe of it all said "You are in the future of technology. Feel the power of the advanced!" and at that moment, I felt it. The light turned green, and the feeling went away.

I can't explain most of what you experienced, aside from vague claims on how easy it is to forget (or forge) memories in our big old squishy heads. Except one thing I might note... QUOTE(SeekerVI @ Oct 8 2007, 04:21 PM) [*]A favorite song of mine had a really annoying guitar rift that was only in the left channel, now it's only in the right. This happens to me all the time. The solution is to switch my ear-buds, since the R one is in my left ear, and the L one is in my right ear. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I keep a close eye out for "changes in the Matrix" so to speak. Maybe it's just my insecurity though, but every discrepancy in reality is quite easily attributable to my own absent mindedness. Unfortunately I can't tell the difference between memory and imagination, so a lot of things that I remember don't seem to be true at all. The problem is how these discrepancies keep "fixing" themselves, as soon as they're put to the test there's nothing there at all. When I find something that doesn't make sense, and doesn't magically stop happening when I pay attention, I'll be sure to let you know.

I get these, be it stupid stuff like an obviously very old tree appearing at the top of my street overnight so that I walk into it when I leave my house in the morning, or a building in the distance visible from my house shifting it's position on the horizon subtly day by day.
But the worst thing for me is when I have an accident, but then don't, but feel it happen anyway.
It's completely random y'see, I have no control over any of it. I shudder like someone 'walked over my grave', feel the car hit me or myself fall over in the shower and crack open my skull, but then a split second later find myself just standing there completely fine, if a little shaken up.
I am far from a God, nor do I live a charmed life (I have extremely bad luck actually), but the only explanation that I can think of is that I am either falling between realities (and instinctively choosing the better outcome of an event and moving myself there) or I just have the ability to view the less favourable outcomes in those other realities whilst staying here in my own (which is the more realistic theory in my opinion).
Either way, it has taken some getting used to, and is very unnerving.

i just had another thing happen to me. It had to do with my TV. I set the remote down, and for a good 30 minutes i was watching this show, and then in the middle of the show, it went to commercial, changed channel to channel, and i got very upset. my brother was confused when i asked him what was happening. He asked me 'what do you mean?' and i grabbed the remote from off the desk, and i tried to change it back to the channel but then my brother got upset and asked me why i was changing the channel. I stopped for a moment, trying to understand what the heck was happening (a bad battery?) but then i looked back up, and the tv is playing the show again, without commercials...from where it left off...without changing channels...and my brother is annoyed at me. I am too confused to make heads or tails of this. what the hell?
subtle my ass.

Incidentally, I've just started reading Turning Home by Paul F. Eno, wherein the author sums up some of his previous books with a theory of a "dimensional bubble" multiverse. Interactions between bubbles have a negative electromagnetic field denoting the boundary, when overlapping objects can move from one to another or that world can appear ghostly to us (& vice versa). Eno puts forth the idea of a sort of quantum-probability soup being the reasoning behind it, yet while reading it I couldn't help but think "what would happen if the astral overlapped with the physical more than usual?" after the mention that a ghost haunting one location coincided with someone's dreaming the same activities. Or how in one example the entities fed off an electrical system as well as negative emotions. Ugh, that's definitely not the best summation of the book, plus I'm not even finished with it. Another thing it reminds me of Esoterica's gates. This post has been edited by SeekerVI: Jan 28 2008, 09:46 PM
