If one sees a black cat on halloween, could it mean anything?

I'm positively certain it could mean anything! It all depends on how much you obsess about it to the point of the universe taking notice. Thanks to the World's desperation to fulfill your desires, any long-held mental order shines like a beacon from the maelstrom of normally chaotic thoughts, making it a likely target for fulfillment.

IMO, anyways. It could just be Mrs. Kibblesworth escaped her house and keepers for a time.

I agree, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar…other times, who knows.

Sorry for sudden topic change, but I do believe that Freud had an obsession with the C*ck. Everything was either sexual or phallic for him. He just said that to save face. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/13.gif)

No, from what I know about the man…he never said such a thing. The man was too obsessed with cigars. Never giving them up, and avoiding writing on how he himself avoided the subject of his addiction under psychiatric analysis.

As for the phallic obsession and such, it is only recently in human history where we have taken down the phallic symbolism. In truth we have usually covered it up in female curves (fast cars and planes) but the motorcycle is probably one of the ultimate phallic symbols in today’s age.

As for the cat…what emotional response did you have to it…that is a clue as to your possible reasoning…for me it was never the color of the cat, the cats who did not seem catlike yet where…meaning there was something about them that made me feel they where totally out of place.

yeah i have to agree with everyone on this... it might just be a cat. unless it had a cheshire grin you could just be exp. the common misconception of ignorance passed down from generation to generation. a superstition that means nothing more than your mind fufilling the repeatative thought cycle that most refer to as "magick", "mantra", "meditation", etc.

his name is robert paulson, and such.

don't dig too far into it, unless you have reason to believe it was like the great pumpkin in disguise or something.

I'm with Groucho Marx on this one--"A black cat crossing your path mean's he's going somewhere."

I see black cats on Halloween and every other day of the year for that matter--I live with two of them. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) It doesn't mean anything unless it's a rare occurrence (meaning you don't have any ferals around) or unless you want it to mean something.

Sorry. Been away from this site a while.

That was years ago!!

I have developed quite a bit since then, and yes, shed alot of superstition. Thanks!
