Neris,
Don't feel like a failure because your not. It's really not how loud you say the prayer so much as how you say the prayer. Don't think it'll work. Know it'll work. Plus, the hard part for you is this part you have to forget about it. If you lust after a result you make it harder on yourself. You MUST forget about it. You should get a result. However, I have to tell you:
1-It may not take the form you expect. Think Bedazzled the movie.
2-The Nec. deities tend to work at their time not quite ours. Some people get instant results (instant being hours to days later) other such as myself it take longer. It happened for me a month or more later.

Advice: I recommend meditating on the seals. Perhaps nightly if you need to. Then in a week or 2 try the ritual again.
Bottom line don't give up. Believe in yourself. You can do it. Have faith in yourself and in them.

Thankyou, gmcbroom.

I did sort of meditated on the seal, more like visualized it in my third eye.
I believe in the power of Malah to help me.
Now I am going to see if I can look up some better meditation techniques on here.

Well here's my experience, make of it what you will. ( this is coming from a total magick noob )

I called up BARASHAKUSHU as per the Necronomicon Spellbook.

So I get a slight tingling right at the top of my head, the flame from the candle that I had burning at the time was leaping in the air, literally.

After a time I really gave it no more thought and kind of shrugged it off.

The weirdness starts after I got to bed, I went to sleep maybe at around 10 or so and the dream came. I dreamt ( not so sure if it was a dream or not) this huge animal like thing was lying on top of me. I could only describe it as an oversize dog or something.

So I had to really struggle to force this thing off me which I did in the dream eventually, the strange thing is that I woke up I had muscle soreness congruent with lifting something really heavy that was on top of me and I'm pretty sure it wasn't a nightmare, I was physically aching the next day as well.

When I finally got back to sleep that night ( I was just a little freaked out by this time ), I was having vivid dreams about the person that I was praying to the deity about.

So that's my experience or non experience depending on your view.

Sounds all so stupid I know. To me it was real though.

I think Malah gave me more confidence in the wrong department....

But its too hard to explain and too personal for me to go into on here.

I'll admit that it made me sit up and take notice, not in a scary way or anything but one of those things that make you go hmmm.

My prayer was also of a personal nature and whether it works or not remains to be seen.

I will let you know however.

I am going to call upon Barashakushu.

I hope he heard your call and is working on it to help you.

When I called apon Malah, after a few minutes after I said the prayer thing, above my left ear on the side of my head had a tingling sensation sort of like pins and needles.

Well maybe this is a little of topic but this seems the right place to ask, does anyone know ir the spellbook method can indeed be observed?
i mean, one man working in the ritual, and another just watching? does the man watching has to be within a circle?

No circle is necessary. Unless you feel it is. It's primarily a solo operation. Why not the both of you do it at the same time? Just a thought.

hmm sounds like a nice idea, but is it posibly to perform the ritual while being observed? i mean does the presence of another man besides the performer afects the ritual? ( talking about the spellbook method)

That would depend upon who is watching who. If your both comfortable around each other. In short not intimidated or easily distracted then I see no problem with it.

It's like She doesn't have to make a fearsome manifestation, you just know what She can do. Interesting how She and Kali compare, yes?

Kali's upper left hand in much of her artwork is in a gesture called the abhaya mudra, which is also referred to as the Gesture of Fearlessness. Her lower left hand makes another mudra, the Varada, or Gesture of Compassion. In other words, there is a duality shown there...both fearful and loving aspects.

I was wondering whether someone from here has passed the Gate of Ninib, Adar, and the results later on on his/her life, or if anyone is familiar with someone that has done that.
