Basically its a run down on how Christianity was created through the adoption of other religious beliefs for the sole purpose of creating social control and gaining power. Check it out and share any thoughts you might have.

I always felt that my experience with church and christianity was what led me to seek out what is really going on,I could not swallow the being saved bit(tried though), it seemed at the time the other option was to be an unhappy materialistic consumer lost in the darkness, at best having family and friends to share this confusion with by passing the time with useless entertainments.
If "satan" is the ultimate deciever I would call him the archetypal form of ignorance, having pride in the latter seems to lead to self deception due to laziness and lack of discernment and will to Work.

I would go to church if they taught the Mysteries, and aided one in development of the eyes to See and the ears to Hear, guiding one to the inner kingdom and awakening of the dormant mental faculties of thine single eye, filling thee with Light, knowledge wisdom and understanding. Yet many of the masses attend church and call themselves christians (Christ like?), so maybe at their present stage of growth that is what they need, yet it seems to drive thinkers who seek away. "Luckily" we have access to information from sites/forums like this and bookstores, most of all, those who wrote down there findings that we can apply for our own personal experience and growth.

Interesting video that speaks with conviction, but who knows maybe there has been many annoited ones with conditions alike. After all it may have been said that we can do what an annoited one has and more.

Hinduism is essentially the same as the Vedic traditions, minus animal sacrifices.
And all surviving religions have stemmed from there.

I agree that the Vedic traditions are likely one of the oldest religions, however Egyptian and Vedic religious philosophy are culturally distinct in a way that suggests it did not arise from any sino-aryan religion. The oldest archeological evidence of Vedic tradition is not so much older than that of the Egyptian religion as to suggest one has any connection with the other. Typically certain names, for instance, can be traced back through a series of corruptions. This evidence is not present in the names of the egyptian figures. Although it is possible that the philosophy of the Vedas may have at some point been the first spiritual philosophy practiced and widely accepted by a culture, there is no reason to suppose that all religions stemmed from that point. Sentience likely arose in one area and spread, but culture very likely developed in distinct areas separate from one another. This is why some cultures are so different that they literally see the world differently.

I have often wondered at what point religion changed from being a sacred way of life into a tool of control. It seems that only the judaic religions really fit the mold there - does Hinduism have a similar history? Although the egyptian religion was certainly enforced by a priesthood, most evidence - what is available - seems to suggest that it held a far more sacred place in their society, a way of life, government, and existence in which the gods made themselves known according to oracles (questionable and corruptable perhaps) but also in natural phenomenon in a way that our 'modern' gods do not. God is only considered angry in the eyes of the Far Right, who only call it that when 'sinners' are struck down. When the righteous are struck down, 'God has a plan.'

It used to be, "The Gods are fickle beings. Better not anger them." Regardless who was struck down.

In my opinion Hinuism is one of the most all inclusive religions I have encountered. I think rather than as a form of control, it really intend to liberate a person from this material world. One Hindu poem says that if you pray to any God or honor any God you are really praying to Bhraman. Even though Hinduism has litterally 330 million "Gods", Brahman is considered the supreme God, which is all and none, the alpha and omega and completely inconsievable. But people are encouraged to seek out that unknowable divity through avatars such as Vishnu or any of the other many Gods in Hindu culture. That's the actual religion. As far as how it's been used, well I'm sure there are Hindu preist and Bhramin who have used religion to control others. Hinduism as a religion I think is used far less to control others. I think that comes down to Hindu culture. Their cast system and arranged marriages are much bigger tools of control than religion. Of course you do have Hindu fanatics and any fundamentalist view tends to brain wash its followers.

As far as contrasting Christianity and Hinduism, well in my opinion the two religions are backwards from each other in most aspects.
