This thread just so happens to be concerning telepathy and I was rather surprised that there was such a negative to what appeared to be a genuine attempt at a telepathic or subliminal communication.

I really don't think there was a telepathic message in esoterica's post, or she would have pointed it out right away to win the argument. Also, I have never heard of being able to digitally embed a telepathic message. Where did you hear that? It sounds interesting.

So you, as the one claiming to control people's minds, need to think about being more patient, and less obviously insecure, with people who will inevitably doubt your paranormal powers. hm.

Oh believe me when I say I knew where the topic was going; I wasn’t surprised to see a big lacking doubt in ESP or that people would then discuss the morality of hurting people. To have been naive of people doubting any such claims would be a big hindsight. I was contacted personally by a few different people scoffing at the idea and assumed rightly that one or more of them would later post something on this thread. I could have taken my topic to some place strong in theistic thought (such as a Santeria forum) behind whatever path they fallow and might have gotten the help in finding resources. I knew if I did that I was going to run into a good bit of mystics that I don’t care to talk with, mysticisms have no place in science.

Alls I wanted was some resources, seriously! I guess I’ll take my topic someplace else.

Umm, if you know so much, why not just make your request on a forum where you "know" you'll get the response you want? Or did you mean to set yourself up in a situation you knew would fail so that you could proclaim "I knew this would fail all along because people would doubt me" and thus demonstrate the extent of your might? (or ego)

Also, learn the meaning of the words you're using, "naive of people...big hindsight" ... it's nigh impossible to make sense of some of your sentences you write without using telepathy.

Godlyman, I will say that if you want someone to practice telepathic training with, getting IM information from a willing person via private message, and then doing that off-site would probably be the best approach. You really need something like IRC or instant messaging for that, and we don't really have it here.

You can allways find an online buddy to try it out with. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) If your not put off with remote exercises it should be pretty simple to find someone.
