It is a book on how to do the Abramelin operation in modern day times. It is an excellent book (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

You know, I had refrained from buying that book because the cover looks like a box of Tide laundry detergent, and put me off too much. But now that I know what it's about, may I will go give it a look-see... n_n

Well, I am reading "The New Hermetics" by that same guy and I'm enjoying it so far.

ooh my first post here (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

this book is a translation from abremelin. it uses notes from aleister crowley as i understood when reading it. it explains to the point on how to make a contact with your higher angel guardian. it is pretty straight forward. it talks about lessons which can be completed in 6months in order to make the contact.

if you're looking for more indepth magician knowledge then this is not a good book. it only talks about making the contact with your angel and very shallow a few side topics such as astral travels and such basics.
