Relationship With Spirits Of Other Realms Options

This could really bring up argument, and i hope people keep an open mind about what im to ask because it is also something very interesting which i've not heard about in any site or forum.

Can you befriend a spirit; ANY spirit(be it: dead, angelic, demonic, dragon, etc...)? Or...maybe, become more than friends with it, have a more romantic relationship with one, perhaps even look to one as a family member(father, mother). Or just, have a romantic relationship with one maybe in the astral realm, or keep contact with it almost always.

I know this could be quite an eldritch question, but it is quite tempting to know.

Well what i mean is, ANY other spirit(e'en human spirits which have passed away). Not only entities(but also including them).

I'd agree with Star it depends on the person. Some people think differenty about what spirits are. So it'd realy depend on what person believes is really manifesting as a "spirit". But if you also believe that spirits are intelligent and emotional entites then I see no reason why they could not develope romantic relationships as well. Some people beleive in guardian angels or spirits and some believe in spirit guides. Granted thats not necessarily love its still an example of emotional bonds between people and spirits. But at the same the same rules of any relationship apply as well. One could not trap any spirit and call it "love". It would be more like sex slavery. I think one would be wise to take into consideration the delacasies of any loving relationship so it doesn't just become a form of bondage.

Well people used to have romantic reationships with my god...and my godess. People can get raped by spirits (Incubi, and Succubi, though I'm not sure if that is true). Why not?

Yes you can.
For example check out various mythologies of the ancient Gods falling in love with humans and so on. There is also many accounts of incubi and succubi.

It can get a bit complicated due to the differences... if you ever though being with someone from a different country and culture is different, try a different plane of existance!

I'm very curious due to having a lot of time and energy on my hands. I love to explore, infact I may consider finding a relationship with a spirit (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)
