I'm sure this has been noted elsewhere by magicians, but I feel like I have my dunce-hat on noticing this only now.

In the LBRP, Michael is on the right, i.e. the North. But the North is Earth. In the SIRP, Fire is in the left, in the South and Earth is on the right, to the North. In the LBRP, it's reversed, with Michael as the divine intelligence of Fire on your right at North, and Uriel as the divine intelligence of Earth on your left at South.
