White And Grey Magick Options

So... according to my book "Modern Magick: Twelve lessons in the high magickal arts, by Donald Michael Kraig" says:

White Magick is the science and art of causing change to occur in conformity with will, using means not currently understood by traditional Western science, for the purpose of obtaining the Knowledge and Conversation of your Holy Guardian Angel.

and...

Grey Magick is the science and art of causing change to occur in conformity with will, using means not currently understood by traditional Western science, for the purpose of causing either physical or non-physical good to yourself or others, and is done either consciously or unconsciously.

I would like to know if it's possible to cross both path at the same time, because that's what I'm interested in. Or at least start with White then go to Grey?

What you suggest?


Oh and... I recently made my wand but it's size is not 1 feet. It's like 2 and a half and that's how I really like it. Do wands have to be a specific size for a specific reason and if so... why?

It's from an almond tree. Wand smells great hah!

I vaguely remember reading that book and disliking those statements. They are rather vague and, to my mind at least, the same thing. Talk to your HGA and you do yourself physical and/or non-physical good. That is the point I hope of all magick you do on yourself. To answer your question directly, yes you can do both. You would be hard pressed to find someone who works with their HGA and did not bother using that knowledge to better something.

As to the wand thing, It likely does not mater. If its your personal system or the one out of Kraig's book you work with, a tool you like will serve you better than one you don't.

I haven't gotten that book yet but even if you don't agree with the definitions (which I don't) it's nice to know because the author is defining the terms as he is using them in his book.
