I've refrained from using the term, "Musik". It was difficult.

Have always thought about somehow enfusing music with magic, if music can bring out the emotions in people it can be used to the same effect enough to cast a, "spell" or invoke probably in the same way mantra would, through resonant repitition of sorts. If its possible to vibrate or emanate a specifc set of words to achive a specific end goal it should be possible to do the same with an instrument, "basically".

Pretty much want to invoke planets or turn my guitar into a talisman to get to the point. Not nesscarily a hymn to venus or some diety as that's not so specific but actual ritual with an instrument... achiving change in accordance to musical skill... if you can see past the bad joke.

Anyone have any info on this perhaps?

Peace
.M.

Music and sound has long been used to put a person in a certain frame of mind--or even trance--for magical workings,. To use sound as a spells and the rest you inquired about, I suggest you either query folks about planetary magic in the ceremonial magick forrum or look into the esotericism about intoning vowel sounds --there is both a Western tradition about this that goes back Egypt (and thereabouts) and an Eastern tradition (related to mantrayana and shabda yoga). The vowel sounds are related to chakras/plexuses in the body, which have correspondences with the planets. You also might want to look into what has been written on chat boards and on the Web about chaos magic sound sigils. Magi-geeks play around with hertz frequencies with instruments or electronics that generate sounds and make sigils out of them or otherwise use them for magic workings. I play symphonic gongs and performed and recorded a working in which I used a symphonic gong to create my idea of a sound sigil. In fact, I was at a women's retreat today where the hostess was playing the recording in a room set aside for meditation. That sigil was meant to have an effect on the energy body and its connection to the planetary archons (ie, the planets).

Also Google "Carmen of the Spheres" There is a Web site where this resides. It is an approximation of what the vibrational frequencies of the orbits of the planets sound like.

Leaving aside those principles of magic that play on the superstitious and that, whatever they be, are unworthy of the general public, we will direct our thoughts only to those things that contribute to wisdom and that can satisfy better minds . . . -from De Magia by Giordano Bruno (born 1548; burned at the stake February 16, 1600).
