Sorry to spell-beg practically AT 30 posts (just a few over), but I have been having serious trouble at school with some people who just keep bugging me and won't listen to reason. I searched curses on here (the word "hex" was too short for the search to be valid) and got a great post with a long list by Kinjo I believe, but the disclaimer at the top basically said "If you're a beginner, DON'T DO THESE OR THEY'LL BACKFIRE." So, my spell-begging (damn me...) is for beginner hexes and ones that won't cause major harm (I've had a lot of trouble with people on my tennis team... maybe be really bad at tennis for a day or something?). I know I should try my own methods but I've never cursed/hexed/occultly harmed someone before or even attempted to, so I have no idea whatsoever where to start. Any spells/ideas anyone wants to give me?

By the way, I don't like summoning or invoking spirits... I mostly do elemental magick with some psionics and shamanism mixed in.

lololol - i'm sure you've heard my 'do what you will, but by doing it you accept responsibility for what you did' routine, and are well versed (or soon will be lol) in the general idea of what you do comes back on you (eventually, and usually when you least expect it) - its like doing good for someone usually responds with somebody doing good to you later, and so doing harm to someone, or just screwing them up for a time, will mean that that will more or less happen to you, or via my rule that you accept what you do eventually coming back around and happening to you

beginners are warned about doing things cause beginners have a tendency to go overboard, or not have a clue about unforeseeable consequences, lets say the person you 'slightly screwed up' tripped over a curb cause they were slightly screwed up and got run over by a bus or something, and that would haunt you until you died, and then, like in a circular universe, the hex you did comes back around and hits you in the ass and you do something screwed up and puke all over your desire and they never speak to you again or something

most traditions tell you to stay far far away from manipulative magic cause it brings bad things on the person doing it, and even in in my world you have to accept responsibility for all unintended consequences regardless of what they are and prepare for them before you do anything - manipulative magic is powerful and always affects both the target and the shooter

edit: omg, did you run your mouth off about being a big bad magician and now they are urging you to prove it? - lol there is a reason its called 'occult', which is just an old latin word that means 'secret' or 'hidden' - best recourse is to take the lumps they dish out and they'll forget soon enough, hopefully

I'm not sure that would haunt my conscience until I die... When I hate people, I get cold hearted towards them. VERY coldhearted. If someone I disliked were to die, I wouldn't care at all because it could only improve my life. Obviously I'm not going to be the one to kill them intentionally, but I won't cry over a cured disease. That said, even in this case it would be all someone else's fault. I got the swine flu earlier this year; does that mean if I pass it on to someone and then three people in the chain of infection later somebody dies it's my fault? I understand the main thrust of your post, but I'm not inclined to regret the removal of inconveniences, which, in my opinion, is what people become when they consider themselves possessed of inherent superiority to all other sentient beings.

Mmm, the words of innocence.

You've obviously never leveled an intention towards someone who then met with a premature end in apparent conjunction with that intention.

When someone you dislike dies, regardless of the speculation about what happens to that person or your relationship to them beyond the mortal coil, you may not be emotionally affected.

It's a different story when you do something - magical or just harsh words - and then they die suddenly in some fashion. Questions forever remain unanswered, the threat of their shade looms in the distant end of life - or possibly very nearby - while we wonder if one day we really will be judged by those we wronged, or even a vengeful deity. Even in life, what power might we encounter that will require of us that we face up to what we've done?

You are on a long and eventful journey through life, much less delving into the occult which will greatly complicate and enrich that journey. Along that path, you will be called to account for yourself, that you will one day bear witness to your own crimes - both those you meant to commit and those you didn't mean to - in True Nakedness before the abyss. I'm not talking afterlife judgement, I'm talking about an inevitable point you must reach and contend with in order to continue your intitiation. If you act in this way, you ultimately become trapped by the lower ego, and it becomes very difficult to contend with it when you have been giving it strength for so long.

So, consider well what you do, and weigh the value of your actions carefully. Do not act thoughtlessly, and make sure that you actions really do count. Does it matter if these people fear you? Or for that matter even that they leave you alone? Do their actions have such a weight to them that you cannot stand under them? What kind of person will you be in response?

The ignorant, the vain, and the unaware have the luxury of things like vengeance and petty cruelty, because they don't know if they will ever have to face up to their actions - maybe there is judgement after life and maybe not. However, if you endeavor to become a magician, you certainly will.

So, choose your actions wisely.

peace

Rather than worry about them, why don't you take a more direct approach and worry about yourself?

It seems a much easier path to simply not to be broken down by those around you. You are ultimately in control of how they affect you.

Consider using your troubles to guide you into becoming a person of greater fortitude, rather than a person of greater negativity.
