QUOTE(Prophet_Ezra @ May 23 2005, 03:56 AM) what do you want to summon these nasties for? What's the point ... there's enough evil in the world already ... black magic is trouble real trouble ... seen real shit things with objects moving across walls and cuts appearin on arms when someone I knew raised a fiend to curse someone
Someone hung themselves too ... its real bad shit ... why do you want to do this ... I thought real magick was about love and caring for each other and trying to gain in unity ... but this is forming barriers between us all .. sick Hmm let me get this right, your experiences were bad with certain beings and you choose not to work with them, so you call those who do work with them sick? Saying the person hung themselves because of the magic is sort of like saying the kid hung himself from listening to too much heavy metal music LOL. The fatalities from magic are less than the fatalities from car accidents. Also talking about stereotyping, just because you had a friend who used one of these beings for black magic does not mean that is the onlly thing they are called for. Each being has a specialty. I have yet to call one of the "demons" for a work of black magic, and I have been calling them for quite a few years now. Also, you may perceive them as evil, however that is just from the Christian or biblical standpoint. I have seen some amazing things happen as well, things fly accross the room, sudden healings, people getting past life long issues etc. I have not had negative experiences with these sorts of beings personally, well neither have I with angels for that matter. However, it is not your place to judge others, especially in a forum thread that discusses these sorts of beings. Take the dissrespectful aspects of your posts elsewhere. Yes, real magic is about love, get with the program (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Athena

as someone that works with daemons on a regular basis, I can say that most do not know about their energies, purpose, etc. It's interesting how many witches, ceremonialists, sorcerers, Wiccans, etc. don't subscribe to Judeo-Christian belief and mythos, yet many believe in the Judeo-Christian views of demons. Most so called demons were gods in various ancient communities. For example, the demon Ashtaroth used to be the goddess Astarte. So just because you see the word demon doesn't mean it's "evil" or bad. The word demon has similar origins in the word daimon, which meant something along the lines of inspiration, guidance, etc. Research Greek mythology(correct me if I'm wrong) to find out more on the original meaning of the word daimon/demon.

I am in full agreement with Athena's earlier post. [RANT]People are far too caught up in the duality which has pledged civilization since the introduction of monotheism. A so-called "eternal divine conflict between good and evil." Their path is the "Royal Road" to eternal reincarnation, and a never ending sleep of the damned. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/mf_popeanim.gif) [/RANT]Regarding the Names and Rank in the Infernal Region, I fail to see the value of any "spiritual" research coming out of the christian church (especially anything after Nicea 1). The men and women may have devoted their entire lives to the study, but [at best] their core reasoning is all skewed by a fractured system of belief based on pain, denial and the socio-political enslavement of others. Kings? High Council of Demons? Dukes? legion commanders? Princes? Princesses? Lieutenants? Counts? Chiefs? All, the invention of a belief system, desperate to try to recreate the universe in its own image and likeness. The utter bullshit gets blacker and blacker the farther down that you explore the catacombs of the christian and islamic mind. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/fear.gif) Go outside on a clear evening and gaze up at a physical universe which is currently between 13 to 25 billon light years in diameter. Does that look like something which would be produced by a vampire god who constantly needs to have his ass kissed (err... worshipped)? This post has been edited by Lamed: Oct 10 2005, 04:23 AM

For the people asking where this comes from, there are 72 names listed... I recognize them by name, but with 72 listed, where do you think it comes from? anyway, in my opinion working with the goetia is actually very similar to working with the necronomicon. Both can make a 'working' magical system that does evoke actual beings... yet both are fictional. Figure that one out and you progress to the next level in ritual evocation. I really really agree with this (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
