Hello all,

I am posting this because I remember in another topic someone complaining about not being able to get this book from Amazon.

On 20 April, I placed an order at Amazon for Stealing the Fire from Heaven. After waiting roughly 5 months and getting emails stating that the order would be delayed I received an email stating:

"Hello from Amazon.com.

We are sorry to report that we will not be able to obtain the following
item from your order:

Stephen Mace "Stealing the Fire from Heaven"

Though we had expected to be able to send this item to you, we've
since found that it is not available from any of our sources at this
time. We realize this is disappointing news to hear, and we apologize
for the inconvenience we have caused you.

We must also apologize for the length of time it has taken us to reach
this conclusion. Until recently, we had still hoped to obtain this
item for you.

We have cancelled this item from your order."

I then emailed the publisher, Dagon Productions, informing them of the Amazon email and inquiring about purchasing direct from them and they replied:

"Amazon is not getting anymore copies and I informed them of this months ago. I'm down to the last 20 copies of the book, so the only place to get it is
through me."

Sorry for the lon post. Just thought that I'd give everyone the heads up!

I just got the same e-mail about this book a couple of days ago. Thanks for the heads up on where to get it at.

Thanks for the heads up.

By the way, how is the book itself? All of the online reviews that I can find simply comment on the quality of the artwork, as well as the fact that Spare supposedly borrowed some poems from other writers. However there is nothing about the content of the book itself! Such a rare find, how useful is it to the student of the occult?

Greetings!
It is an interesting read... I have an old photocopied edition. Kinjo, are we allowed to pdf this? It seems that everybody wants a copy...? It's amazing how its fame grows with its unavailability... Spare wasn't known for his poetry but rather his fantastic illustrations/artwork. My hero! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I thought that the book was very informative and that the content is quite useful. I would recommend it, but then I am an 00ber n00b and haven't read enough or , more importamntly, expierienced enough to really say how useful it is for an occultist.
