Lucifuge Rofocale. The name 'Rofocale' appears to be an anagram for 'Focalor' of the Lemegeton
Yes, take the Name Rofocale, drop the e and rearrange for the Name Focalor. I recall, but I cannot recall from where, that the e is silent, so instead of
row-fo-cah-lay the Name would be pronounced
row-fow-cowl. Not that it means anything, but it could explain why dropping the e is okay - it has no sound. But I'll be damned if I can remember where I heard that. The final letter having no sound strikes a chord too (no pun intended), but again I don't know why.
But, drop all the vowels and you get RFCL.
Reverse that and you get LCFR. Add some vowels and you get LuCiFeR.
Light Bringer = Flies the Light?
Just random neurons firing... I need to try this with some other Names and see if anything else turns up. Feels like there's something there, but I'm not getting it this evening.
Best,
