Vibrating your sounds in ritual is saying the name and lengthening the vowels sounds as you do so, you should start to feel vibrations in different parts of your body; for instance vibrating Aaaadooooonnaaaaaai like this whilst breathing out.

Your intention is to push this out into the universe. Names have power and you are empowering it as you vibrate on the out-breath to attract the one you name; you will need to experiment with the pitch and you will sense when it is right.

Yes I already like this thread enough to add a little:

Vibrating names is a matter of getting comforatable with your vocal cords. To learn simply go through various tunes of voice. Practice a deep voice with a OOOOOOHHHHH and a higher sound like aaaaaaahhh. Mix and match to come up up with your own tune of voice. of course don't forget to try other sounds like RRRGH or eerriieee. The more variety the more options you'll have. Apply this to your magick as feel its nessessary. Experiments I've done included whispering and yelling aloud in a location I knew would echo. Both whispers and echos are great tools for vibrating words for anounciating to the powers that be a wish you want to pass.

93

Some schools of magickal thought hold that the vibrations of various names should be done in a particular key associated with that deity.

Download a good explaination of the vibratory technics here

and this is my effort done as a demo for other friends, I think it is fairly
close to the mark

I use the Sign of Horus and Sign of Silence to intensify vibrations (especially when working in a banishing). They can seem overtly ceremonial, but are useful in enhancing a basic ritual. Both have a background in OGD/Thelemite systems of magick and can be effectively converted (or taken intact) by anybody trying to boost the 'power' in a vibration; the sound is connecting mind& body in much the same way controlled breathing does and the Sign of Horus/Silence further focus intent through 'whole body' involvement (there are other benefits too, when charging pentagrams/points or vibrating god-form names... it's all limited by the imagination -what else?-).

When I vibrate anything, it's not via an extension of the sounds, but rather by an internalized projection of them. This is hard for me to describe to a non-vocalist, since it's something carried over from singing, but I will try.

It's primarily chanting from the diaphragm, instead of the chest. With a fullness of air, one can truly project what one is speaking. This projection will, in all literality, cause vibrations within their system (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I know that after I've been singing properly for any length of time, my face plate thrums for a while afterwards.

Pretty much a version of what Doc are trying to say here. I used to go to sing to karaoke on a weekly basis, and I also found vibrating is pretty much the same with trying to sing high notes and vibrate it accordingly. When singing you don't pull the air from your throat as most will be tempted to do - if so, then you won't achieve the note you're after. You have to sit/stand up right, pull and push the air from the stomach, expand the lungs and "vibrate" away (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
