Golden Dawn Tools Options

I can't find many resources online regarding the construction of traditional GD tools.

I am aware of the Cicero's book, but it's quite rare and expensive. So I figured whatever information it contained might be somewhere on the internet.


I've tried browsing these forums, but the search is a bit finicky.


I'd REALLY appreciate some links/topics/sites regarding this topic.

The original purple book is rare and expensive, but it was broken up into two books and reprinted.
The first is the creation of the tools:

Creating Magical Tools: The Magician's Craft

and the second is actual use:

Ritual Use of Magical Tools: Resources for the Ceremonial Magician

Both run around $16

There has been some dispute over the association over certain implements in particular the knife and wand.
Most say the knife is air and the wand fire. Others say the knife is fire and the wand is air.

Ave, There are many other sources such as "summoning spirits" by Konstantino and I think Kraigs book also has them although he puts a Pentagram on the flip side of his Earth Pentacle insted of a Hexagram on both side(which some prefer). I would think you could find something online pretty easily, although it may take some time and patients.
Also There is a distinction between an Athame-dagger, general magick wand-(instrument of magicians will) and the Golden Dawn's Elemental Weapons.

Just go to AzothArt and buy some stuff. Slso the ciceros sell their own tools as well, so.

I think the GD weopons are so dawm ugly with the flashing colors etc. do the flashing colors really work in trance. it just makes me feel stupid and out of the zone. I would rather use animal bones and sticks and stones.
seems my sense of art is getting less formal the longer ive been practising.
soon i will be wearing animal skin naked under a fool moon chanting some strange obscure words bwahahaha oh well.

Ceremonial magicians are such elitist with elaborate equepment and chambers etc. things will never change.
