Please SAVE anything you value Options

Whilst we are undergoing this round of disruptions on the boards, it would be wise to save any posts that you value onto disk before you post them on the forums.

We do have back ups, but they are done daily, so if you post shortly after one is carried out, then you will lose your most recent posts.

well.. you could try Recording the I.P of that rat... you could thus identify the country->Internet service provider->andi f you have enough legal power(evidence of hacking), you could extract the username of the person using this I.p that the service provider allocated at that particular time. record also the exact time coz Ip change dynamically for a normal dial up user and exact time might be very helpful to know the user

I also have been getting some problems with personal messages (where one expresses on spot emotions and ideas) which is difficult to write again at a later time if someone has deleberately deleted that PM (IMG:style_emoticons/default/diablo.gif)

man, that was nasty - yesterday i got virused hard by some guy saying he was the messenger of god and that we were all going to burn in hell if we dont stop doing 'sorcery', to which i replied that 'sorcery' is the english word for 'pharmachia', which is drugs and drug abuse, and he sure put the wrath of something evil on my poor pc, that's for sure - finally figured out it made my cookies directory read only - i couldn't log in to anything and have it stick! all better now - i got pc tools spyware doctor and it made it all go away, it found a bunch of interesting stuff, too, like a 'keylogger' program that watches everything you type and sends it to some web address that is just a bunch of numbers - bet they got a shock when they read what i was typing, since august i've been working on my next book about exploring alternate reality planes! you can test the pc tools spyware doctor (wont remove it till you buy it unfortunately - but it lets you know what is there and you can remove/delete it yourself - be sure to do the live update before scanning) at: http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/?ref...&OVMTC=standard

For every action there is and equal and opposite reaction...
If someone uses sorcery for good purposes, eventually good will be the reaction for it.. But if someone uses sorcery for evil purposes, there wont be a good reaction to it... Reaction may take days/months/years to occur.. but eventually the reaction will occur and thats the basic law of nature ....
Thats one important thing that humanity should learn fat coz the harm that humans are doing to the nature ( pollution/deforestation etc...) will eventually force nature to destroy humanity....thats the sole truth

As for viruses, I can advise you to use a firewall .... e.g zone labs free zone alarm pro..
download it and ask me for a registration key...
do not forget to update the firewall... i used it for a lot of time without any antivirus and with win xp..

but as a precaution use an antivirus... AVG free antivirus is quite nice..
