Those are all quite fascinating theories, especially about the time shifts. That reminds me of mentions of the bermuda triangle. Some people go there with no strange experiences, but I've heard of records of things and people disappearing there. Do you think there are time shifts in that area?

One theory is the idea of mini-black holes that around the world there are micro-scopic versions of black holes that probably only last for a very short time (as in nano-seconds) but if these tiny little buggers came into contact with physical matter they could theoretically destroy it. At least that is one take on possible phenomenon surrounding the Bermuda Triangle and other locations.

As far as creating portals, ancients used to believe in natural gateways that acted as portals between various worlds, but not necessarily different times. The Celts believed that places at like where a lone oak tree stood acted as places where people and otherworldly beings could travel to and from our world to theirs. Some speculate that Stonehenge may have been used as a gate between the world of the living and the dead. However portals can still be counted as a medium for time travel. Through dreams and astral travel it is possible to create door ways or gates to the past or even the future. Of course, how accurate any such vissions are can be shady. Never the less that doesn't mean important knowledge cannot be derived from astral travel and dreams.

Another potential medium for time travel is through what acient Egyptians called akoshic records. They believed that the some total of all human knowledge from the past to the future is contained in a sort of collective consciousness that forms a nexus to which all humans are connected. They believed that through meditation and magick a person could abtain virtually any piece of information. Its not literal time travel but one could still get something out of it.

I read theory about akashic records. Actually it's a place that a person can visit once he project.

But how it would work the portals using dreams or astral projection?

Something would have to have started the black holes though. In space, scientists believe that a black hole is born when a star implodes into itself. It creates a tremendous gravitational force that crushes and compresses everything it sucks in until it shrinks into nothing.

What if you evoke some entity and ask him how to create a portal between past and present?

It would work?

Be careful what you ask of these beings. Not like they would reject or offer you advise but you stand in peril. To be wise is to be cautious.

In most matters of life there stand a platform which is a "middle-tier" for all things positive and negative. Time shift is a matter of consciousness, only this time it is even more real than you. Ever had a feeling of being in one place and the next minute it feels like you're in another just for you look around to discover that you're still in your room. Only this time it's a feeling like that of when you get wound up in your thoughts. The one thing I have yet to understand is why the mind ("my mind") feels like it's living in a 4D reality which is why I can only conclude that time travel is very possible at the conscious level of existence. QUOTE(Barnard @ Apr 7 2007, 11:15 PM) *

It's depicted in several movies. Terminator uses technology, The Butterfly effect uses a phychological element, and Superman circles the earth several times to turn back a few minutes to save Lois from an earthquake. Is time travel possible? Magic, technology, speed. What are your thoughts?

I guess that depends on your view of the concept of "time". I personaly dont believe time exists. Simply because just like manny other things people invented, simply because they were personaly rellevent to them, I feel time is the same way. It is rellevent to most of us just because we feel it slipping away and allways have to know how long we have untill "death" for instance or the next action or responsibility if we take it somewhere more "day to day". We allways have expectations and because we have a lot of other terms invented over time supporting this idea. I dunno, I guess with questions like these i keep remmembering life before understanding at least some of this world(energeticaly\magickaly) and the concepts behind the phisical... when all that i had, mainly, in my head were the ideas taught to me(and most of us) of how the world works... the same ideas which we struggle with at times to move beyond our limitations.

So let me ask you a question, if you dont mind. Is time really something to be controlled or proven? or is it another limitation man kind just put for themselves without realising?

In conclusion i will ellborate the thought process behind my opinion. Time is rellevent for us because we feel an end is near but to everything around us(whether phisical or not) time does not exist at all since everything simply changes form but does not have an ending it is aware of.

Another question would be. Is time only a side-effect of awareness?

Sorry for leaving you with more questions rather then solid answers, but i hope this helps to develop your point of view and add to it.

Good luck with finding your answer! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
