There is this really good ebay shop I'll recommend, Soma Luna alot cheaper than yankee candles, which used to be my candle shop even though after leaving the store I smelt like an elevator full of old ladies..... I used get my candles from wal-mart.... still do in those emergencies.

There used to be a craft store in Reno called "above and beyond" but they shut down, and were going to go for internet sales, but I don't think they went that way.

Two of my favorite stores are:

www.whisperedprayers.com
and
www.capricornslair.com

But you know, they arent the cheapest, but I trust the quality.
Have you tried a google/yahoo search, and done price comparisons
on them? Ebay is definitely a place to look into. Alot of the items
on ebay, the folks have websites, as well, where they sell craft
items, such as formed candles.
