That's probably true, but very difficult to interpret correctly methinks.
Reality as we experience it isn't "objective." We've already interpreted everything we understand in any given moment.
The mind likes to make sense of "things," whatever they are. It's a mistake to make sense of "everything," because it leaves no room for a continual process of learning that takes place amidst an ambiguity of not knowing.
It's also important to not mistake one's own existential interpretation of "why things happened" for anything more than our personal point of reference. You making sense out of everything, and finding karmic meaning in it, good. Everything referencing oneself due to karma or cosmic destiny or a host of any other imaginary things, bad.
There's a difference between our concept of karma, our own wishes, or destiny, and what's actually going on in the world. Reality isn't objective, and it's very important to not mistake our idea of it, and how we want to make sense of it, for the (cough) real thing.
