Money And Magick, I have lots of foreign money Options

So I collect money from around the world. Like litteral some of the strangest places. Once I found a 20 dollar bill from Zimbabwe in the gutter of my street when I lived in a town of less than 2000 people in the backwaters on the great plains of Northern Colorado. I've also gotten money from various people I have known through my college and who have stayed with relatives through foreign exchange programs. I have money from Taiwan, Argentina, Mexico, Spain, France, Germany (before the Euro), South Africa, Russia (when it was still the USSR) and places like the dominican republic, the moldives, sri lanka, of course Canada (but who cares about their money) and litterally over 50 other countries.

On top of that my collection includes coins that are not just from distant spaces relative to me, but distant in time too. I have probably a thousand coin collection (mostly pennies) of various US coins. The oldest I can recall is a 2 1/2 cent coint from I believe 1890. I'd have to check for sure but its made of zinc and features James Polk as the president. Some of the coins are also from the depression era. Those silver dollars with the statue of liberty on them from like the 30's and even early 1900's. Its probably a pretty valuble collection, I would estimate that the face value is probably less than 1000. But all together some crazy collector might pay more for them. Oh and of course you can't forget the 2 dollar bill and the silver seal 20 dollar bill that is suppose to be redeemable for 1 oz of pure silver.

Now I have no intentions of selling these things. Personally I find them facinating. Coins made from matterials from around the globe, touched by countless people spanning close to a century and a half of time. If I wanted to travel I'd be a coin from some distant country. Over time you'd go many places.

So what this brings me to is the magickal value of such coins. I probably could make my own variation of "I Ching" coins if I wanted to. And I do have some ideas. But what I am wondering is if any of you can think of any specific occult uses for these coins.

I like to hear any thoughts at all.

Well, you can use them for any sort of money spell. Ring a candle with the coins and see what happens. There's a feng shui wealth vase formula I've found (I don't recall the exact items that need to be sealed inside) that requires seven coins from seven countries. Put them in a 'treasure chest' and put a sigil of a wealth-giving spirit inside--the box will act as the spirit's physical base of action.

Thanks ideas like that are exactly what I was looking for. Not just for myself either. I figure there might be some other people who have coins from strange places who might be interested in putting them to use with their magick. One idea I had was to use the coins to attract spirits from these countries to my dreams and attempt to interact with them through lucid dreaming to gain new knowledge. The catch is just doing it in a way that lets the spirits leave once I am done communicating to them.

Id write out the word money as a sigil and get a huge poster board and either glue or tape them on in that shape, if you have any extra decorate the way it comes to you best. kinda sounds like you wouldnt have to charge the sigil yourself either. if you think about it all of those coins have an imprint already of the people that have handled the money. But i would consider cleansing them first in purified water or holy water (if you can get your hands on some) if you feel it necessary to only charge it yourself.

Then again i am a artistic magician and i make my most potent rituals/spells through artwork.

My theory (or at least what works best for me) when you physically spend more time on a spell you trick your mind into believing that you have put a lot of juju/energy on it. Which being a magician already you have but i makes you consciously believe it as well as subconsciously.

Yeah I don't know if I'll do much in the way of actually gluing any coins or bills to anything. I would like to keep the coins in the condition I found them. But using the money through sigilization is an idea. I was think about not cleaning them because my theory is that I can draw off the energy of the various kinds of money itself. I mean think about it - money from all six inhabited continents, having gone through countless hands - people with their own lives and energy that they imprinted on the money. And the time span of nearly 150 years. I just think its pretty neat. So what I am trying to do (rather sluggishly at the moment) is come up with a way I can draw on all that substance, all that energy and pool it into my daily life to drive new change and hopefully find new financial opportunities, good fortune and good luck.

I'd meditate on why these objects of value, from countries foreign and domestic, have made themselves so conveniently available to me.
