The Black Raven. Options

I was looking through an assortment of pdf.s' online and I came across the Black Raven grimoire. I looked around for a bit trying to find out more information on this grimoire, and couldn't find much. What I want to know, is grimoire a known fake, or is it considered as legit as lets say the Goetia, or the Heptameron?

The alledged author of the grimoire was Faust, though there are other magical manuscripts bearing his name so its questionable. There is a German title of this name which dates around the 15th century. Apparently this coincides roughly to when Faust was believed to have lived. I have no idea how effective the grimoire is, and know of no one who has used it. The only way is to follow what the text says and see. Good luck

Trident is working on a translation of the text that will probably be a lot better than any PDF available so far. It is a legit grimoire and I know a few people working with it.

the document translated by Karl Welz is small. The Faustian material collected by Scheible in his Das Kloster is far more complete, with a lot of seals and conjurations.
Also, the 6th and 7 th books of Moses are very very closely tied to this tradition , as a Manuscript from Prague of which i have 11 images. Just google Faust manuscript Prague.
