i'll be away for a while, doing sorties looking for symptomology of torsion fields that could signify the presence of a world gate

field trip:
meeman-shelby state forest near memphis, this saturday, november 14th, 2009 - meet at 9am by the bird feeder if you want to go too - clothing should be appropriate for deep woods hiking as i seldom stay on the marked trails - terrain is moderate to difficult - bring food for a wilderness lunch, water, etc as we will possibly be gone all day - no weirdness, guns, fires, etc, are permitted in the state forest - video may be being taken, so if you show up you agree to be on the video, and i assume no liability for your well-being, etc, etc - trip can be cancelled anytime and without notification - rain or dangerous flooding means no trip

world gates - i and others people have gone through them though many did not return or get thrown back, and things have come through them into our world

so here's a little story about a gal and a world gate...

Jan's Valley

Jan didn't move, but it wasn't because she couldn't, it was because she was consciously maintaining a state of twilight existence, and absolutely nothing could interfere!

Only here, beyond duality in the in-between, where there was no love nor hate nor good nor evil nor light nor dark, where things just existed because they existed, without having to have a reason for their existence or being judged, could she touch the entrance of the world gate!

The pillars with their oppositely-twisting carving flanked her on both sides, and the blazing white path flowed exactly between them, white against the blackness of the polished floor, but both of those extremes were ignored as she carefully walked the twilight path away from all extremes.

If she could just hold on to the middle path, then she could control the gate and point it to her valley, then slip through the slit in the fabric of the world gate, like a button through a buttonhole, intact and bodily, into that wonderful place!

Unlike a button, she had nothing left to tie her here and the slit would close behind her, but it all slowly was slipping away, finally ebbing away like the fading of a dream.

She had almost made it through the world gate!

The tenuous connection to the other world was lost for the moment, the torsion fields of telluric energy that drove the natural world gates starved for power due to the extra-ordinarily low sunspot activity.

She would have to rest, and so would the world gate, each drawing and hoarding the energy carefully like a campfire cook hoarding supplies for a final feast at their destination on the last day.

She longed to see that other world again, to walk the soil of a wholly different planet under different stars.

She had dreamed of it again just the other day, this place so very far away that was still, in her mind, 'her valley', the grass dry and brown but foot-long and laid over in humpy bunches as if there were passageways underneath for tiny rabbit-like creatures, and the huge ragged outcrops of austere tilting brown rocks bordering that valley of grass.

Jan had lain on those rocks, belly-flat, feeling their sandy grit, watching the valley below with the binoculars, watching the snug-furred big cat's pink tongue lap at an almost frozen puddle and seeing the yellow eyes narrow and the lips curl up in an inaudible snarl as her companion rose from the gray-brown humpy grass, slowly so as not to startle the animal.

Her mind thought of it as a cat, as it exhibited some cat-like grace in its movement and behavior, though it really wasn't a cat, but it was here, and could prove to be dangerous to all but invisible friends.

Through the binoculars, Jan followed the bouncing rump of the big cat as it galloped off down the valley until her companion appeared in the field of view.

As for her companion, who could really say what she was?

Her companion gave off a air of self-assurance and self-control, the grayish clothes, the gray-colored sharp-cheek-boned face, the gray and wiry arms and legs, all gave the impression of a very capable young person, but of course she wasn't human, and she was invisible, or nearly so.

She was younger than Jan, but so much wiser in the ways of the invisible worlds, just as Jan was wiser in other things, things to do with suffering and the deceit that her companion associated particularly with humans and the human world.

Jan wondered if her companion actually trusted her, seeing as Jan was human and all, and thus prone to that basic drive to deceit that leads so often to suffering.

She shook her head, this was no time for idle speculation on how human chemical drives drove them to do shameful and greedy things!

They were exploring this valley, one tiny spot on this new world, and she needed to keep her wits about her and focus on the here and now!

Jan found her companion with the binoculars again, not something easy to do when your companion is mostly invisible, and watched as she took a careful sweep of the lower portion of this wonderful little valley.

In springtime, if they have a springtime here, these rocks that so surrounded this valley would be like a long brown fence, and would be warm, and the grassy plain below would be thick with green, a perfect natural pasture for animals like deer or horses, and the presence of the big cat-like animal probably indicated that that was so.

But now it was deep winter, although there was no snow, and the rocks were cold and the humpy grass was brown and withered.

Realizing that her mind had wandered off again, she again found her companion in the binoculars, the edges of her invisibility as it interfaced with the visible giving her away like some misty ghost walking slowly down the valley.

Her companion turned and waved to her, signaling that her scouting of the valley was complete and that it was time to move on.

That's when Jan had suddenly woken up from the dream!

The dream was so real!

Had she gone exploring an odd brown valley with some odd friend who was mostly invisible?

She knew for certain that that valley did not exist here on planet earth, but she did not know how she knew that.

And she knew that friend, knew her very well in fact, more deeply than she knew even her own acquaintances here on earth.

So Jan had begun her quest for a world-gate, and she had found this place, here on earth but connected to the other world through a spinning vortex of energy, a rotating storm-cloud that bent time and space, powered by the eddy currents in the magnetosphere and that in turn was powered by the sun, this particular one a bit weak but hopefully reliable.

She no longer had a job, no money, no relationships, no baggage, no constraints whatsoever on her leaving this world, except herself, and that, along with her physical body, would hopefully transfer intact through the world gate to where she directed it to point to with her heart and mind.

A few had tried to counsel her on suicide, but suicide was simple and easy compared to what she was attempting to do!

She was done with this world, and fully ready for the other, even if it meant death by carnivore or the starvation of winter there in the valley, but anything was better than here where the dead worked themselves to a painful death for money so that other dead could bury them and the still-alive dead could envy their peace!

She chose to be alive, and looking to graduate this high-school hell!

She pulled herself firmly back to the topic at hand, and contemplated her next move, sitting in one of the uncomfortable chairs and trying to give the illusion of tranquility to the security camera that was staring at her.

To wait for springtime in the valley on that other world would have the prudent maneuver, but there were those in this world that did not want her to leave, and they tried constantly and with greater force to pull her back into the pool of suffering just as she tried so hard to climb out of it!

She was sick of suffering, and sick of those who profited on all the suffering, and ever so sick of their media and their manipulations!

Her companion had it so right, those humans who were comfortable in their existence, who refused to advance beyond the normal, who didn't want themselves or anyone else to go beyond their everyday except for some base titillation and excitement, those were welcome to this world of suffering!

She had tried so hard to help the suffering, and they turned on her, branded, their weak-wills driven by jealousy and ego and greed to get rid of the burr that reminded them of their suffering, and underneath that drive lay the malignant humanity of those in power who wished to remain in power, through hook, crook and even the flail upon their own people when necessary, to keep them to their task of wanton consumption to maintain productivity!

She couldn't believe it at first, but the stink of it was there, for all with a nose that wasn't tainted by the consumptive rot to smell!

And so she had developed the middle path, and learned to control the gates through her thoughts and desires, and now she stood here, in this ignored museum, alone among all this beauty, with the carved pillars flanking her, the world gate before her, and her memories to guide her through the world gate to her lovely valley!

The End
