I've been on the outskirts of every magical path lately. I've accepted a death and rebirth in my own life. I've decided to start again, from the ground up.
So putting it all together, I would most likely fit into Chaote, but I don't feel that's true. I have a fundamental understanding of alchemy, evocation, sorcery of other means, necromancy, black magic, warding, astral travel, and empathy.
But one element has always remained the same, and it's become the backbone of my practicing. I can summon a tingle of my spine that a good song, an amazing comment, or a good book can give me. Then I concentrate, make myself feel an emotion that I attach to the spell I want to work, and it always works the way I want to, if I feel it well enough. I've always attributed this to basic Wild Magic, but that's a subject most don't touch on, or attribute solely to the realm of faeries.
So my question is twofold.
Is this Wild Magic? If so, why can I not find anything on the subject? Is it Sorcery? What? And Who else does this? I find that I don't even wholly focus on a function I wish the spell to accomplish. I just go with a feeling and I trust the spell is intelligent enough to work on its own. Then I thank the energy, and after I'm satisfied send a thankful thought/feeling to my deities.
I know I'm not the only one. So rally together, let's talk about this. Something I never see.
