I've been on the outskirts of every magical path lately. I've accepted a death and rebirth in my own life. I've decided to start again, from the ground up.

So putting it all together, I would most likely fit into Chaote, but I don't feel that's true. I have a fundamental understanding of alchemy, evocation, sorcery of other means, necromancy, black magic, warding, astral travel, and empathy.

But one element has always remained the same, and it's become the backbone of my practicing. I can summon a tingle of my spine that a good song, an amazing comment, or a good book can give me. Then I concentrate, make myself feel an emotion that I attach to the spell I want to work, and it always works the way I want to, if I feel it well enough. I've always attributed this to basic Wild Magic, but that's a subject most don't touch on, or attribute solely to the realm of faeries.

So my question is twofold.

Is this Wild Magic? If so, why can I not find anything on the subject? Is it Sorcery? What?
And
Who else does this? I find that I don't even wholly focus on a function I wish the spell to accomplish. I just go with a feeling and I trust the spell is intelligent enough to work on its own. Then I thank the energy, and after I'm satisfied send a thankful thought/feeling to my deities.

I know I'm not the only one. So rally together, let's talk about this. Something I never see.

All real magick starts with the breath, and then with the body. The tingles. Practice sustaining the tingle for as long as possible. Then practice spreading it. Observe how your breath relates to the tingle and then your mind and the combination of all of these.

Wild magick, black magick, white magick, thelema, rosicrucian, whatever. These arf all just constructs that relate to a system of development, and in some cases to a definition of intent (white or black). But all of these utilise the same basic "principle" or energy, and this is that tingling you are feeling. It is the manipulation of your own energy, in accordance with others to achieve a desired goal. You are much more likely to gain a safe success by keeping your practice simplistic, or wild if you will. The difference being that compared to a definite systematic path of magick, you may find you progress more slowly (you may not), and you dont have a spring of the recorded experiences of others with which to compare your own. This just means that you have to be a little bit more vigilant when it comes to observing your self, your physical mental and emotional states. You must keep a diary when practising wild magick. Your memory is not always your greatest friend.
