"friends", I'd like to keep tabs on certain persons' posts. Options

Hope I set this up right. It's my first time making a poll. What do you guys think?

There's a friend function on most phpbb ver.3 boards, but I've yet to see it used here. I'm pretty sure this site is also Kinjo's sooper speshul custom build, so that function may or may not be available--it's optional anyway and the admins can use it or not as they like.

I'm not necessarily a fan of it--on the boards I'm on that use it, I don't really see much of a need for it. There's always the 'search' box in the menu if you need to search posts. You can search by author and keywords, so if you *have* to find a body of posts by someone you can.

Well, while that may be true, it's not as efficient as if you had an activity news feed or something along those lines. A news feed that only shows the posts of the people that you would like to hear from would be very nice.

Certain aspects of this site could do with an update, video and link posting etc. Other than that i m too much of a recluse to have an opinion in either camp.
