Kenneth Grant And Necronomicon Questions Options

I've become interested in learning about the Necronomicon and the supernatural beings it describes, but i've got a few questions. I've recently heard of Kenneth Grant, a British occultist, and some of his beliefs/theories are that the Necronomicon is a real book and the events and supernatural beings it describes are real but that they happened on another plane/realm and that the Lovecraft one, is a 'story' but it's a 'astral echoe' of the real events and that the real Necronomicon is accessable on another plane/realm (i think that's it anyway, but i haven't read his books), would you agree with this, in that the beings are real (not just 'thought forms').

Also, for those that have worked with them, what have been your experiences, what do you ask of them (and what do you have to do for them, in return) and can anyone work with them/has anyone ever been 'called' by them like other gods (e.g. Greek, Sumerian, Kemetic, etc) call people (like 'Pagans') or do you approach them.

What books (or sites) would you recommend to learn more about them (and working with them), are Kenneth Grant's works good?.

Since no-one has answered I'll try to give answers.
Now I cannot say much, but I believe that the forces of the Necronomicon are REAL and should be dealt with as such.
I can't speak on Kenneth Grant, haven't read any of his material, but have heard that several books of his are good, but again I can't speak on my own behalf, if I could suggest anything, I would go to amazon and read other people's opinons on his books.
Now many of the entities of the Necronomicon are linked to other dieties, like Marduk for example is similar to Shiva, etc.
I can't say much on my own behalf again, and I hope some other people post on here to back me up lol.

Concerning Kenneth Grant:

As you know, if you've read Dead Names, Kenneth Grant's work amplifies the themes of the Necronomicon considerably. The problem with approaching his large body of work is that one must have a pretty good background in Thelema, Qabala, mythology, etymology, and a whole host of incidental fields in order to fully understand his writings.

I think the best approach is to start with his earliest books first and slowly work your way up. Start with "The Magical Revival" and "Aleister Crowley and the Hidden God". His later books (such as Outer Gateways and Hecate's Fountain) refer to the Necronomicon a great deal; there are dozens of references to it, analyzing the Necronomicon from the point of view of a Thelemic ceremonial magician.

If you have done some reading in Crowley and the Golden Dawn literature, then Grant will be easier to follow.
