knife in tree (branch) omen? Options

I was out in my backyard today, and I noticed something rather odd. About twelve feet up, there is one of my nice kitchen knives stuck into the side of a dead branch. If you saw the angle at which it is stuck you would realize that it could not have been plced there by hand, or else the dead twigs in front of it would have broken. I seriously doubt someone could have thrwon it into the branch considering that the knife would have to pass through a bunch of small branches with leaves in front of where it stuck. So my question is, does anyone have any insight to this?

Well a skeptic would say:

"Someone has just taken alot of meaningless time out of thier life to scare you by slowly putting that knife in the branch and cleaning the leaf up. People are inventive, so nothing is beyond man including impossible knife angles."

I would say:

"Someone is screwing with you or threatening you, physically or metaphysically. I'd suggest you keep your eyes out for irregularity and cast some protection spells on you, your family, and your property (also pets if apply, because you dont' want to find that kitten knife in scruffy now do you?). You may also want to use some sort of divination to find what it means and who hast sent it."

I think you are readin too much into this a mundane answer is much more probable. However if you are sure of something supernatural then post a picture I would love to see why you assume more than someone putting it their.
