Dom Arigato animus, Thanks I do too! Glen Morris' books have told me MANY interesting and wonderful things about his experiences in the Bujinkan. Try searching the library here or amazon. Very eye opening into the psychic abilities of the upper ranks of the Divine Hall. What do you mean by bujinkan spirituality though? Just wanna clarify, because spirituality is one of those words that can mean many different things to many different people. Ta. (IMG:

Ah, i will have to look it up then.
Well, as far as i have understood, bujinkan is very spiritual indeed, but for many reasons (one perhaps being that people would think its silly and not really continue training it at the start) its not talked about during my time in the dojo, just briefly.
Well, i've read sections of books by hatsumi and there's lots of spiritual philosophy going on there, and also in some regards, rituals or such.
I've also seen mentions of things that can help your astral project etc, very interesting but haven't really found a good text to read about it, just mentioned here and there.
Also i asked our head trainer about some stuff he does when greeting that noone else seems to do, or know about (?) but he said i had to figure it out for myself, alot of crosses and stuff, like slashing a sword (IMG:

Oh yeah, and what about the part where you say shikken haramitsu daikomio (sue me for spelling japanese...) and then clap twice (to get rid of unwanted spirits) and then one clap (to bring back wanted spirits)
Oh yeah, also read somewhere about different kamais where as you can either be life bringer or life taker, based on how you are standing, holding your hands etc (preventing rain from reaching the ground etc....)
but enough rant, going to go find books by that guy you mentioned, cheers. (IMG:
