Aliester Crowley mentioned the Enochian Devil Chronozon,
with the calls.anyone encountered Chronozon..? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/diablo.gif)

While reading the calls I had a very brief moment where i felt like crossing a dark gap and being devoured..yet a voice assured me that what is devoured is the falsehood in me.
Does this relate any way to Chronozon or is it unrelated..?

Greetings!
It would be difficult to pinpoint the experience mentioned as having to do with the demon Corozom. First off know that the spelling of this demon has changed with Crowleys incessant tampering with the transliterations. He had a bad habit of renaming things to coincide with his own ideas of gematria. The word magick is a prime example.
The demon was supposed to be the Dweller in the Abyss. Many have assumed that this was a way of saying that it was the Dweller on the Threshhold. Many work very hard to rise through the Aethyrs to reach and surpass the Abyss. If you feel that you have done this then talking about the demon after the fact is moot. I have mixed feelings about this. Crowleys tinkering with the demon with Victor N. has many blinds and dead-ends. It was assumed that Crowley used an 11th degree rite with Victor to culminate his experiment. (This involves sodomy and is usually overlooked or subverted by some to lessen societal norms/platitudes. I do not judge...nor do I know for sure, though I have my suspicions.) The Abyss has no permanent residents. I'm sure that this statement alone will raise the hackles of mant Thelemites and others. I care not, for, in the end, it is our truths that open the doors to our perceptions. I'm an old humbug with a balloon to Oz. Happy Journeys! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/connie_mini_oldman.gif)

Unless you were reading the call of the aether, then more than likely it is unrelated. As Bym pointed out, Chronozon is found in the aether that loosely corresponds to the abyss. Many of the aethers have "guardians" or demons that must be overcome before you can move on to the next one. The calls and enochian magick in general tends to speed up transformation or dealing with karmic debt as some put it. Usually this is not a pleasant experience. More than likely your experience is related to this aspect.

The Demon Choronzon doesn't appear at all in Dee's writing. Instead there is "Coronzon," who is mentioned only once. In this instance it is identified as the name of the tempter in Eden, who preyed upon the weaknesses of Adam so that man would get evicted. After the eviction, in consideration of the hostile influences encountered by mankind, the Watchtowers and Governors were supposedly established for his protection and assistance. There isn't any indication whatsoever given that Coronzon is some other, or more interesting or intriguing spirit than the talking snake people hear about in Sunday school.

For some reason or another, Crowley (during his Bou Saada adventure) gave Choronzon a few pages of text space, leading to its current popularity. This attention is a sharp break from Dee's "Coronzon," but so is the whole idea of going on astral vision-quests in the 30 Aethers. Dee's format was to use the Call of 30 Aethers to invoke the 91 Governors (with TEX applied to four governors, and three for the rest), for the purpose of creating material effects at distant points of the globe over which the 91 Governors preside.

for what its worth, in true entity fashion, choronzon (the uncle al version) said (in naked primal evocation, and only after a gift of bailey's in a dish of malted sweet corn) that he was 'the master of speeds', and informed me to 'despise linearity', and provided the image that the aethyr groups were stacked like 45rpm records and he was the changer - interesting, as these entities always are - the bigger question is, are they the product of the aethyr, or the expectation of the much-recited piece of work

I was performing the call of 30 aethyrs and I fell into a deep trance.I read afterwards about the topic,it says that Chronozon plants a seed of corruption in the soul of the magician.I fear this, although i felt an Angelic guidance beside me all the time.

Fear is the enemy. Conversely, it can save your ass from a fire.
IMHO Choronzon isn't something you should be focusing on. To each their own. Good journey!
