"A Philippines judge who said he consulted imaginary mystic dwarves has failed to convince the Supreme Court to allow him to keep his job." - quoted from news story here @ BBC News.

Do you think this is fair? Of course, if one truly has a mental health problem, that may be one thing, but if not...

*scratches head*

Alllllriiighty then......

I don't know what to say, other than this is living proof to keep silent. Whether the judge did what he said, or believes what he does, it's not for me to say.

Yup, there is a reason for keeping your mouth shut at school or in the work place about what you do and who you worship....this topic is exactly why.

Bum rap. Everyone knows mystic dwarves are all-wise. He's probably the most level headed judge on the bench. Or was.

Obviously he needs dwarves though. Revealing his "advisors" shows lack of wisdom. Obviously the dwarves were the only thing keeping him on the bench -- until he let the world know. Of course he must go! Imagine if a judge made all his decisions based on consultations with his wife or husband or significant other. No difference.

Greetings,

The Judge was an imbecile. When people bring me into their homes <work> I do not talk to them about Necronomicon pagan Gods etc. Because I am not an idiot. The personal life bears no merit at work.

Also that the Keebler Elves were making his decisions to me seems questionable. WTF? I do not think I would have wanted him to Judge my case!

People who blab to unknown strangers and co-workers about stuff like this deserve what they get, I'm afraid. Like Edunpanna wisely stated, check this at the door if you're not 100% sure of the beliefs of the other people around you.
